For my birthday trip this year, I decided to hit up Coachella for the first time. Held in Indio, CA, this is one of the largest music festivals in the country! I leave Thursday for Weekend 1, so I have started to pack to make sure I have everything. I have a checklist of things I need (It is the planner in me), but here are 8 Must-Haves in order to survive Coachella Valley.
This app is the official festival guide. It allows you to customize your personal music lineup, so you know when your favorite artists start their set. You can also find the nearest food, shop, RR, water station, etc. using their location finder.
85-90 degrees in a desert, barely any shade….self explanatory.
Essential for catching all of the good music to re listen to once I get back to the Bay
No mosquito bites!
The key to making sure I see every artist I paid to see glare free
I want to return with my full hearing, the music can be LOUD.
For the first time, every vendor will be accepting Apple and Android Pay. However, my mom always told me to keep cash on me for emergencies. I don’t do this all the time (sorry Mommy) but it will come in handy just in case any issues may arise.
I am so excited! These items are not the only things I am packing, so let me know what else I may need in the comments below! Want to follow my adventures during my time at the festival? Follow me on IG & Snapchat! ( allthatiskim )
